How much does it cost to rent roller skates?

  • 1 day roller skate rental: 20$ + $5 for safety gear (helmet/wrist/elbow/knee)

  • 3 day roller skate rental: 30$ + $10 for safety gear (helmet/wrist/elbow/knee)

  • 7 day roller skate rental: 50$ + $15 for safety gear (helmet/wrist/elbow/knee)

 

Is there a minimum age requirement?

Yes, you need to be 18 years or older.

Do I need to reserve in advance?

No but online bookings are recommended due to a limited capacity. This will guarantee your size availability. Bookings can be made here.

 

What happens if I need to cancel my reservation?

All payments are non-refundable. If you need to change your original reservation it must rescheduled 12+ hours in advance. 

 

What happens if I am late bringing back my skates?

You will be charged 1 day rental fee for each additional day you have the skates & gear in your possession.

What do I need to know before coming to pick up my skates?

  • Bring ID to verify your identity. We accept valid drivers license, passport, Health Card or any government issued ID with a picture. Sorry we do not accept Student ID’s.

  • You will need a credit card to leave a $50 deposit per skate set.
  • ​You will need to sign a waiver.

Where do I pick up my skates?

At our store location at 6001 ave Papineau, Montreal, QC ​

 

When can I pick up/drop off my skates?

Pick up: Any time on your scheduled pick up day during our regular store hours.

Drop off: Anytime before your recored pick up time on your drop off date.

 

What skates am I renting?

We have two types of skates at the moment. The Riedell Angel skate set with outdoor Radar energy wheels & The Riedell R3 skate set with indoor Sonar Aura derby wheels.

 

Can I buy the skates I am renting?

We do not sell our rental skates but we do sell the same model in store if you want to purchase them. Riedell Angel skate set 

 

Can I skate outside? What if it rains?

The Angel skate set has 57mm Energy 78A outdoor wheels suitable for outdoor skating. Roller skates are not meant to be used in the rain. You are responsible for returning the skates in good condition and will need to pay for any damaged items. 

 

How do I know what size helmet and safety gear I need?

We will size you for the safety gear at the shop to ensure proper sizing.
